How do I get involved?
Whether you’re a teacher, parent, student, or administrator, getting involved in STEM Day is simple and fun. First thing’s first: be sure to register today!
Teachers: Incorporate STEM activities into your classroom on May 5, 2017 – and encourage your school and fellow teachers to do the same! Check out the hashtag, #GASTEMDay, to see innovative activities from teachers around the state.
Principals: Engage your entire school in celebrating STEM Day. STEM activities are not limited to science and math teachers – STEM activities can be incorporated across the curriculum!
Students: You can be involved with STEM learning inside and outside of the classroom. Be sure to ask your teacher about STEM day activities, and check out our partners below to see what after school activities you can engage in!
Companies: Volunteer to speak at a local school about your exciting STEM career, or host a field trip for students to your local business!
Colleges/Universities: Partner with TAG-Ed in promoting STEM Day, and work with local K-12 schools to coordinate activities, speakers, and volunteer opportunities.
